Customer Reviews: Panasonic HDC-SD60S Very Good Value July 17, 2010 soothsayer 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I purchased the HDC-SD60S from Amazon and an not at all disappointed.
The video records at 1080i but can playback at 1080P quality. The zoom
extended to 35X is remarkable, it keeps the clarity and sharpness intact.
There are probably camcorders in this price range that record at 24 MBPS
versus the 17MBPS this records at, and the colors are deeper and richer.
However they don't show colors as real like to the naked eye as this does.
The software is very acceptable, you can title, divide, and organize
videos very easily. I have Windows 7 which has its own video software and
the Panasonic software is just as user friendly.
The Image Stabilization and Optical Zoom are excellent on this
camcorder, and that was what I was most looking for.
